THE STAN PERRON CHARITABLE FOUNDATION / THE FOUNDATION, ESTABLISHED IN 1978, WAS ONE OF THE FIRST IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA, AND HAS SINCE MADE SUBSTANTIAL DONATIONS TO HUNDREDS OF CAUSES AND ORGANISATIONS – ESPECIALLY THOSE FOCUSED ON THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF CHILDREN.
With the passing of Mr Perron in November 2018, and in accordance with his wishes, the Perron Group’s business portfolio is now structured to provide substantial dividends to the Foundation in perpetuity.
Recent charitable contributions include a commitment of $10 million for research to find treatments and cures for diseases such as muscular dystrophy, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis as well as $5 million to Perth Children’s Hospital - Centre of Excellence in Childhood Burns.
Mr Perron’s passion for giving to those in need will see the Foundation’s work extended in future years under the direction of Elizabeth Perron as the Chair of the Board of Trustees following many years of working with her father in the day to day administration of the Foundation’s work.
