The Stan Perron Charitable Foundation was established in 1978 by Stan Perron AC.
The Foundation was created to provide a lasting and structured way to support people and communities in need — especially children and families facing disadvantage, disability or illness.
Inspired by Stan Perron’s own life experience and values, the Foundation ensures that his business success continues to be translated into meaningful, long-term benefit for others, providing a helping hand to those in need across Western Australia.

A Shared Legacy.
Perron Group and the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation operate as separate entities, but they are intrinsically linked by a shared purpose and legacy.
Following Stan Perron’s passing in 2018 and consistent with his expressed wishes, Perron Group was restructured as a permanent endowment for the Foundation. The Group’s role is to operate successful businesses and manage investments responsibly so that it can fund the Foundation’s philanthropic giving in perpetuity.
This relationship reflects a deliberate and enduring belief that business performance matters, not as an end in itself, but because it enables the Foundation to continue making a difference for generations to come.
“In more recent times, Perron Group, the custodian of my dad’s business and investment interests, has been restructured so that its primary purpose is an annual distribution of substantial dividends to the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation, which in turn provides funding towards a range of philanthropic purposes. As the annual distribution from Perron Group grows, so too will the Foundation’s giving.”

The Foundation operates with a clear vision: to continue Stan Perron’s legacy of generous, thoughtful giving for the benefit of the Western Australian community and those in need.
Its funding is guided by a Founder’s Statement prepared by Stan Perron, which sets out the principles and causes closest to his heart. These principles continue to inform the Foundation’s Funding Guidelines and the Board’s assessment of funding requests.
